Our Story
About us
We are the House Springs Church of Christ—a local congregation seeking to follow God’s Word and grow together in Christ.
We believe the Bible is God’s inspired Word and the foundation for our faith, worship, and daily lives. We strive to worship God according to the teaching of the New Testament, encourage one another, serve our community, and share the good news of Jesus Christ.
Whether you've been a Christian for years, haven't been to church in a while, or are simply looking for answers, you are welcome here. We believe church should be a place where people can open their Bibles, ask honest questions, find encouragement, and grow closer to God.
We are committed to following God's Word in our faith, our worship, and the way we live each day.

God's Plan of Salvation
The Bible outlines a clear and beautiful path for reconciliation with God through His Son, Jesus Christ. We invite you to study these scriptural steps toward eternal life.
Hear
Romans 10:17 - Faith comes by hearing the word of God.
Believe
John 20:30-31 - These are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.
Repent
Luke 13:3 - Unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.
Confess
Romans 10:9-10 - Confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus.
Be Baptized
Acts 2:38 - Repent and let every one of you be baptized.
Remain Faithful
Revelation 2:10 - Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life
What Must I Do to be Saved?
The New Testament teaches that salvation is found in Jesus Christ. We cannot save ourselves by our own goodness or merit. Salvation is God's gift through His grace, made possible by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
God calls us to hear His Word, believe that Jesus is Savior, repent of our sins, confess our faith in Christ, and be baptized into Christ. Those who become Christians are then called to live faithfully according to His Word.
If you have any questions about salvation, baptism, or what the Bible teaches, we would love to study the Scriptures with you. You don't have to take our word for it—open the Bible and study it with us.
"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God" - Ephesians 2:8
